Beautiful hand woven black wool rebozo with colorful cross stitch embroidery. Classic piece of handcraft, examples show in most books on Mexican textiles and folk crafts. It comes from Puebla. There is one place on the edge that had damage on it and I repaired it with black wool yarn, The place is hard to see, check the close-up image (last one). It has been recently dry-cleaned. Colors are bright. It measures 78" long by 32" wide. The fringe is 8" long.
