Tlaquepaque Bean Pot

Years ago when I lived in San Antonio, my neighbors used Mexican bean pots to cook their pinto beans (a staple of any Texan's diet). I could never work up my nerve to use one. They are a charming example of everyday pieces used in the kitchn..This one has been used, you can see the marks from the fire on the outside. It is a smaller size with nice decoration on both the pot and the lid. It is in good condition with one chip on the outside edge of the lid and a few little nicks along the edge, so common in this type of pottery. No cracks or hairlines. It measures 7 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" wide.

The item will ship at 4 pounds for $12.75 postage. Postage includes extra weight for packing, any excess postage charged will be refunded to buyer's Paypal account.
