These old trays are carved from one piece ot wood, then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted flower designs are added. This one is in good condition and show fine workmanship. Wood is sound with one small 2" long crack in the edge where I applied some clear glue. . It measures 15" across. and is 2 1/4" deep.
