These old trays are carved from one piece ot wood, then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted flower designs are added. This one is in fair condition. The paint is in very good shape, bright with no flaking or wear. There are two thin splits on the rim of the batea. Both have glue in them and are hard to see, check out the close-up images. If using the batea from display, this should not present a problem.. Has a hanger on the back. No cracks in the wood. It measures 12 7/8"across.
