Vintage Batea, dating back to the 1950's. Carved from one piece of wood and brightly hand painted. This one is in exceptionally good shape, no cracks or splits in the wood, the paint is not worn. The varnish on it has yellowed somewhat. There is some glare on one image around the blue flower, look further down and you see that it is in good shape. The trayt measures 14 5/8" wide.
