These old trays are carved from one piece of wood, then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted flower designs are added. This one is in fair condition. the paint, especially on the big flower shows crazing from natural aging of a piece that is at least 60 years old. Beautiful border that is not worn off as seen on so many. The paint colors are bright with a little paint loss, see close-up image. Wire hanger is attched to back.. Wood is sound with no cracks or splits. It measures 9 1/8" across. and is 1" deep.
