These old trays are carved from one piece of wood,
then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted
flower designs are added. This one was specially made
to celebrate the aniversry of El Charrito in Oklahoma
City (There is also Mexican pottery stamped with the
1957 celebration, too).This batea is in good condition
and shows fine workmanship. The paint colors are bright
with almost no wear. Wood is sound with no cracks or
splits. It measures 9" across. and is 1" deep.
