These old trays are carved from one piece ot wood, then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted flower designs are added. This one is in good condition and shows fine workmanship. The edge is not worn as seen on so many. There is one old small, hard to see repair to the edge; it may have been made by the maker. The paint colors are bright with just a small amount of wear, mostly at the edge of the blue flower and hard to see. Wood is sound with no cracks or splits. It measures 10 1/2" across. and is 1" deep.
