These old trays are carved from one piece ot wood, then an enamel finish is applied and the brightly painted flower designs are added. This one shows fine workmanship. Beautiful border that is not worn off as seen on so many. There are few minor wear places on the paint of the flowers. The paint colors are still bright with almost no fading. Wood is sound although there is an old repaired crack that might have occured when the tray was made. It measures 13 1/4" across. and is 2" deep.
