This egg was made by the late folk artist, Carlos Inigo Robles. He worked in etched metals and used milagos, jewelery findings and contrasting metals to add depth and texture to his work. This egg is made of wood and covered in etched tin and other metals. I do not know its age, probably 15 to 20 years old. It is signed "Inigo". The display stand is included. The egg, measures 3 3/8" tall by 2 1/3" wide. It is 6 1/4" tall on the stand.
